CALL FOR SELECTION OF STUDENTS TO STUDY FOR ONE SEMESTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WÜRZBURG (GERMANY), WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ERASMUS+ KA171
The Kutaisi International University and the University of Würzburg (Germany) agreed to cooperate on the exchange of students and staff in the context of the Erasmus+ KA171 program.
To whom: 3rd-year students of the Kutaisi International University (School of Mathematics)
Where to: The University of Würzburg
Period of the stay in the University of Wurzburg: 2027 spring semester (12.04.2027 - 16.07.2027)
Study Cycle: 1st
What: The selected students will study between 24-30 ECTS at the University of Wurzburg (Germany)

The application should contain following information about the applicant:
1. Academic record
2. CV in English in the format of EUROPASS CV
3. English language level: B2
4.German language: B1(optional)
5. Motivation letter, where the applicant expresses the reasons why she/he wishes to participate in this exchange
7. List of subjects you want to study at the university
8. Other documents and information as deemed necessary by the applicant.
STUDENTS WITH ADMISSION PRIORITY
By the priorities of the Erasmus+ ICM Program, students in any of the following circumstances are particularly encouraged to apply:
1. Students with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia;
2. A large family member, according to the recognition of the country of origin;
3. A member of a single parent family;
4. Student who has a disability that is more significant than 33% officially recognized in the country of origin or residence;
5. Student who is a refugee or has a status of internally displaced person (IDPs) in the country of residence;
6. Student who has social exclusion or social emergency;
7. Student who is an orphan;
8. Student working full time;
9. students with children, students with chronical illnesses, first-academic students
Applicants must provide a copy of the relevant certificate or legal document to certify the above-mentioned circumstance
SELECTION CRITERIA
A Selection Committee will consider the following criteria in the selection of all candidates:
1. GPA (up to 4 points);
2. English Knowledge level B2 (evaluation score: up to 1 point)
3. The level of German Language through the presentation of the certificate or equivalent accreditation (evaluation score: 1 point).
4. Motivation letter (evaluation score: up to 2 points);
5. Applicant’s CV (evaluation score: up to 2 points);
6. Other activities and achievements with proof/documents provided (evaluation score: up to 3 points);
According to the decision of the Selection Committee, selected candidates may be invited for an additional interview.
Final selection is subject to the official acceptance and confirmation by the host university.
