CALL FOR SELECTION OF STUDENTS TO STUDY FOR TWO MONTH TRAINEESHIP PROGRAMME AT THE UNIVERSITÈ PARIS-SACLAY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ERASMUS+ KA171.
The Kutaisi International University and the Université Paris-Saclay (France) agreed to cooperate on the internship of students in the context of the Erasmus+ KA171 program.
To whom: BSc Students and PhD students in Physics and Computer Science
Where to: Université Paris-Saclay
Period of the stay in the Université Paris-Saclay: September 2024 to October 2024 (For BSc students in Computer Science) ; September 2024 to December 2024 (for PhD students)
What: For the selected BSc students, Erasmus+ ICM internships at Paris-Saclay University will correspond to 12 ECTS.
Concentrations: For BSc students - Software optimization, Big Data, FPGA, Web development, AI (For BSc Students in CS) for physics applications.
For PhD students - Particle and Nuclear Physics, radiation and medical physics, proton therapy.

The application should contain following information about the applicant:
1. Academic record
2. CV in English EUROPASS CV
3. English certificate: B2 or higher
4. Motivation letter where the applicant expresses the reasons why she/he wishes to participate in this exchange
5. Other documents and information as deemed necessary by the applicant.
STUDENTS WITH ADMISSION PRIORITY
By the priorities of the Erasmus+ ICM Program, students in any of the following circumstances are particularly encouraged to apply:
1. Students with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
2. A large family member, according to the recognition of the country of origin.
3. A member of a single parent family.
4. Student who have a disability that is more significant than 33% officially recognized in the country of origin or residence.
5. Is a refugee or internally displaced person (IDPs) status in the country of residence.
6. Has social exclusion or social emergency.
7. Is an orphan.
8. Students working full time.
A copy of the corresponding certificate or legal document must be provided of the alleged circumstance.
SELECTION CRITERIA
A Selection Committee will consider the following criteria in the selection of all candidates:
1. GPA (up to 5 points);
2. English or French Certificate (B2 - 4 points, C1 - 4,5 points and C2 - 5 points);
3. Motivation letter (up to 5 points);
4. Applicant’s CV (up to 5 points);
5. Other activities and achievements with proof/documents provided (Up to 3 points);
Final selection of students will be carried out by the partner University.
