Admissions Requirements for Georgian Citizens
1. Unified Master’s Examination
To be admitted to the Master’s Educational Program “Embedded Computing Systems” at Kutaisi International University LEPL, applicants who are Georgian citizens are required to have passed the Unified Master’s Examination.
Information about the Master’s Program is provided in the examination guide published by the National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC) LEPL.
2. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
To be admitted to the Master’s Program, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
• Computer Engineering;
• Computer Science;
• Electronic Engineering;
• Mathematics;
• Other related educational programs.
3. English Language Proficiency
To be admitted to the Master’s Program, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level and provide supporting documentation (please see the list of required documents below).
4. Oral Examination / Admission Interview
To be admitted to the Master’s Program, applicants are required to successfully complete an oral examination/admission interview with representatives of the Program management team (please see the Interview Guide)
Submission of Admission Documents
Registration and Interview Dates for the Master’s Program Embedded Computing Systems
The registration and interview period for the Master’s Program is scheduled as follows:
• August 24 – September 7: Online registration of Master’s degree candidates;
• September 7 – 9: Oral examination/admission interview;
• September 10 – 11: Contract signing;
• September 14: Start of the 2026–2027 academic year.
Admission documents for applicants seeking enrollment in the Master’s Educational Program Embedded Computing Systems at Kutaisi International University LEPL must be submitted electronically.

In the application form, applicants are required to enter their personal information and upload the following mandatory documents:
1. A copy of the identification document;
2. A certified copy of the Bachelor’s degree diploma (or an equivalent academic degree) and its supplement. For 2025 graduates: a certificate confirming the award of the academic degree;
3. A copy of the conscript’s military registration certificate or military ID (if applicable);
4. A copy of the document certifying the recognition of education obtained in a foreign country (if applicable);
5. A photograph (3 × 4 cm) in electronic format;
6. An international certificate confirming English language proficiency, or a certificate issued by the relevant higher education institution confirming that the applicant completed their Bachelor’s degree in English, or the relevant document issued within the framework of the “CERTUS” project of the National Assessment and Examinations Center (NAEC) LEPL.
All documents to be uploaded must be scanned separately and submitted in PDF format. The electronic photograph may be uploaded in JPEG or PNG format.
When uploading a notarized copy of the Bachelor’s degree diploma (or equivalent academic degree) and its supplement, both the document itself and the notarization page bearing the notary’s signature and stamp must be scanned and uploaded.

Requirements for Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU)
Required Degree
The applicant must hold at least a B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related program. At the time of application preliminary transcripts are accepted. Final transcripts must be provided upon enrollment.
The grade average of the previous study should prove high qualification of the applicant. This will normally be the case for a grade average of ‘B’ or better in terms of the ECTS grading scale.
English Language
Applicants, who will complete one semester at RPTU or have an international professor as their supervisor/co-supervisor will be required to prove that they have sufficient fluency in English. We normally ask for IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each competency. This corresponds to a TOEFL iBT result with a score of about 95 out of 120. The proof of English proficiency is required even when the language of instruction for the previous education was English.
Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Taking the GRE test is recommended but not mandatory. The GRE code number of the University of Kaiserslautern is 7143.
Motivation letter
The applicant must show that he/she is well motivated for the Embedded Computing Systems programme by writing a short letter of motivation of about one page.
Recomendation letter
The application must be supported by two letters of recommendation from university professors or employers.
