Professor Alexander Meskhi serves as a professor at the Kutaisi International University starting from 2020. Graduated from the Georgian Technical University (Applied Mathematics). He received PhD degree in 1998, and Degree of Doctor of Sciences in 2001 in the direction of Mathematical Analysis at A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. He was postdoc fellow at Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa (Italy) in 2003-2005; visiting Professor at the University of Padua (Italy) in 2010. He was Foreign Professor at School of Mathematical Sciences of the Government College-University of Lahore (Pakistan) in 2006-2014. Alexander Meskhi is a Chief Researcher of A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute of I. Javakhishvili State University since 2017. He was Professor at the Georgian Technical University in 2009-2020. At different times he was invited at the University of Sussex (UK); University of Aveiro (Portugal); Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan (Poland); University of Naples Federico II (Italy); Beijing Normal University (China), etc for scientific and academic activities. Alexander Meskhi was awarded by the Euler Premium for young scientists established by the German Mathematical Association (Germany) in 2000; by the award of the Georgian Mathematical Union in 2002 and 2009; by the Andrea Razmadze Prize of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences in 2012. He was elected as a Scholar of The Georgian National Academy of Sciences in 2017.
Alexender Meskhi is one of Chief Editors of the International Journal ‘’Transactions of A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute’’ and member of the Editorial Boards of the following International Scientific Journals: ‘’Journal of Inequalities and Applications’’ (Springer); ‘’Journal of Mathematical Inequalities’’ (Croatia); ‘’Commentationes Mathematicae’’ (Poland) etc.
Alexander Meskhi’s research interests focus on Problems of Harmonic Analysis in non-standard function spaces; weight theory of integral operators and applications. Currently he is an author/co-author of more than 150 Scientific Papers and 5 monographs.
