KIU's Computer Science Program Students Awarded Lineate Scholarships

Nikolai Khalatiani and Giga Samkharadze, students of the computer science program at Kutaisi International University, have been awarded scholarships by the American tech company Lineate.

The student award ceremony took place during the KIU Innovation Business Forum. Magda Magradze, the Chancellor of Kutaisi International University, inaugurated the ceremony and addressed the students. Harrison Green-Fishback, the Chief Technology Officer of Lineate Georgia, presented the scholars with their respective awards and highlighted the diverse opportunities created by Lineate for the young people.

The event was attended by Ramaz Bochorishvili, the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at KIU, Tornike Sulaberidze, Senior Business Development Manager at Lineate, and students.

The collaboration between KIU and Lineat has been ongoing for almost a year now. The parties signed a memorandum last year, within which they have successfully implemented a number of projects.
