Levan Kopaliani

PhD in International Relations and Affairs, Head of Administration (Chancellor) at LEPL Kutaisi International University (KIU)

He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, earned a Master’s degree in International Relations and affairs from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). In 2023, he received the academic degree of Doctor of International Relations and Affairs (PHD) from Georgian Technical University.

Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of international and local organizations as a researcher, trainer, and project manager. He participated in numerous EU-funded trainings and projects. He was awarded the title of qualified trainer (pioneer) by the international peace organization “Generations For Peace”.

He has worked at Kutaisi International University (KIU) since its opening, serving as Operations Manager and lately Deputy Director for Operations and Development at the Kutaisi University Campus, contributing directly to the creation of the first campus management model in Georgia.

Levan Kopaliani is actively involved in the preparation and development of youth projects. Alongside his academic work in International Relations, he also specializes in operational management and leads the development of international partnership agreements and programs.
