Kutaisi International University (KIU), in the framework of its Youth University program, hosted the second public lecture. Due to the high student interest and demand, the lecture on the topic "What is Justice?!" was once again delivered by Professor Giorgi Khubua, the Rector of KIU.
The first lecture of the KIU Youth University generated significant interest among young people, with many eager to register but unable to do so. As a result, the university offered an additional opportunity for those students to attend a lecture by Professor Giorgi Khubua.
The second public lecture was attended by approximately 500 students from grades 9-12 of schools in the Imereti region. Participants had the opportunity to learn about topics of interest to them and share their opinions.
The students also toured the university campus, exploring the technology-oriented educational ecosystem, comfortable and fully equipped living spaces, cafeteria, library, and collaborative workspaces—essential elements for fostering high-quality education and scientific research.
A new project by Kutaisi International University (KIU) aims to expand access to non-formal education for young people, nurturing curiosity and a passion for learning while introducing students to university life at an early stage. The initiative also promotes the development of critical thinking, creativity, and social skills, while broadening career horizons and future professional opportunities.
The KIU Youth University is designed for students in grades 9-12 from schools in the Imereti region, with the goal of offering public lectures on a variety of engaging topics. The lecture series will be taught by KIU professors as well as guest lecturers.
