To celebrate the start of the new academic year, a reception for freshmen was held at Kutaisi International University (KIU). During the event, the Rector of KIU, Professor Giorgi Khubua, KIU Chancellor Tea Imedadze, and the heads of the Schools of Mathematics, Management, and Computer Science delivered welcoming speeches, congratulating the students on the beginning of their academic journey.
At the reception, freshmen had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the student experience at KIU from university ambassadors and receive detailed answers to any questions they had.
KIU welcomes its fifth cohort of students for the 2024-2025 academic year. This year, top-performing applicants have again chosen to pursue their studies in KIU’s English-language bachelor’s programs. The university continues to maintain its position at the top of national rankings, once again securing first place among 19 state higher education institutions based on the average competitive score of the Unified National Examinations.
