Kutaisi International University hosted a workshop on Reinforcement Learning, facilitated by trainers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Students were introduced to the latest advancements in the field during the session, which was led by Aerospace Engineer Ryan de Freitas Bart and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science specialist Maryann Rui. The discussions covered fundamental approaches, concepts, algorithms, and principles, providing insights to the participants.
"MIT lecturers provided KIU students with a workshop on new teaching methods. The lecturers covered crucial topics, including introducing new technologies into teaching and enhancing the teaching-learning process using artificial intelligence", Kutaisi International University Chancellor Magda Magradze highlighted the importance of the visit, stating, "This visit is important for us because Kutaisi International University has started talking about future cooperation with MIT. We hope that as a result of the mentioned visit, our relationship with the world's leading technological university will be further deepened".
The guests learned about KIU's activities, educational programs, and the university city. The working visit of MIT representatives to Georgia was facilitated by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
