Kutaisi International University (KIU) is located near Kutaisi in the environmentally clean area. The first phase of construction of university campus has been completed and, this year, KIU will accept the first batch of students for undergraduate programs in mathematics, management and computer science. Enrollment at the University is based on the Unified National Examinations.
KIU students are able to enjoy the fully furnished modern standard student dormitories, studio-type individual and double rooms with autonomous heating and cooling systems, bathrooms, bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and study areas. The rooms are equipped with modern appliances, furniture, all necessary inventory and uninterrupted internet connection.
KIU city, built on 153 hectares of land, includes: state-of-the-art academic buildings, libraries, cafeterias, well-equipped sports and road infrastructure, shared workspaces, student dormitories, as well as accommodation for academic and administrative staff. Currently, the gradual development and construction of the university campus is underway.
The partner of University is the Technical University of Munich (TUM International GmbH and TUM). KIU's operational model and programs have been developed in partnership with TUM and TUM International GmbH.
