A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport and the Ministry of Defense to promote education of the military service members and their families.
Within the framework of the project, a memorandum of understanding was signed with higher education institutions, which includes public lectures by senior officials of the Ministry, excursions to military units, cognitive-educational projects and scientific research activities on military issues.
Within the framework of the memorandum, Kutaisi International University will be involved in the projects implemented by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia in academic and scientific-technical fields. The University, together with the Ministry of Defense, will facilitate increase of access of military servants and their families to higher education.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of Kutaisi International University Alexander Tevzadze.
