Representatives and CEOs of 12 international companies visited Kutaisi International University (KIU) as part of an investment tour organized by the Investment Agency of Georgia.
KIU Chancellor, Dr. Levan Kopaliani received the delegation for a working meeting. Investors learned about the university's academic and research potential as well as its role in graduating highly qualified individuals.
Such initiatives connect potential investors with local businesses, educational institutions, and public-sector organisations, enabling them to evaluate Georgia's investment potential firsthand.
Building relationships with international companies opens new opportunities for student internships, graduate employment, participation in projects, and career advancement. KIU graduates remain competitive on both local and international labour markets.
KIU's academic programs, the results of its educational and research activities, and the competencies acquired by students during their studies are further evidenced by visits and meetings of this kind.
To meet labour market needs, the university maintains close ties with a variety of industries, enhancing its position as a regional centre for education, research, and entrepreneurship
