Kutaisi International University (KIU) hosted a mini-course entitled “Stability and Robustness of Dynamical Systems Including Examples from Mechanics” for students of the School of Mathematics. The course was delivered by Professor Sergei Dashkovskiy from the University of Würzburg, Germany.
The mini-course introduced students to the fundamental concepts of stability and robustness in dynamical systems, combining theoretical discussions with practical examples from mechanics. This approach enabled participants to explore the real-world applications of theoretical principles and deepen their understanding of the subject.
The initiative was implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, reflecting the ongoing academic cooperation between KIU and the University of Würzburg. Their partnership promotes international mobility for students and academic staff, fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration in education and research.
Held in the second half of September, the mini-course formed part of KIU’s ongoing efforts to provide students with opportunities to engage with international academics and explore current developments in mathematics.
The School of Mathematics at KIU regularly hosts scientific seminars and specialized mini-courses led by international scholars. These activities enrich the academic experience, encourage research-oriented learning, and help students broaden their knowledge through engagement with the international academic community.
