At the meeting, Kutaisi International University Executive Director/Rector, Mr. Vakhtang Tsagareli provided Council members with an overview of the University’s completed and ongoing projects. He highlighted the key achievements and outlined future priorities in education and research.
The meeting was attended by the Honorary President of Kutaisi International University, and President Emeritus of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang A. Herrmann, alongside other members of the International Advisory Council. Also in attendance were the Chair of Mathematical Finance at TUM and Head of KIU’s FIM master’s programme, Prof. Dr. Rudi Zagst and KIU Chancellor, Dr. Levan Kopaliani.
By engaging with the International Advisory Council, the University is able to exchange academic expertise, draw on international experience, and incorporate best practices into its development. The Council has a vital role to play in determining KIU's strategic direction, contributing to institutional development, enhancing the quality of education, and strengthening KIU's position within the international academic community.
