A welcoming address was delivered by Mr. Zviad Gabisonia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth, and Mr. Vakhtang Tsagareli, Executive Director/Rector of Kutaisi International University. The opening ceremony also featured a performance by KIU Capella.

This festival brought together science, innovation, and modern technology, as well as an opportunity for students to showcase their work and engage with the broader public.

Students from KIU's schools presented their science and STEM projects. The exhibition area also featured educational and science displays from the Kutaisi Technology Hub, Horizon EU, Kutaisi State Historical Museum and Andria Razmadze Kutaisi Physics and Mathematics Public School.

KIU dedicated the festival to the 85th anniversary of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. To mark the occasion, an address was delivered by the Head of the Giorgi Nikoladze Scientific-Research Centre and a Corresponding Member of the Academy, KIU Professor Alexandre Meskhi.

The festival was designed to make science more accessible to the public, to highlight the research potential of Georgia's regions, and to encourage students to get involved in research.
