Kutaisi International University (KIU) took part in the large-scale ceremonial event dedicated to Georgian Independence Day.
Alongside other universities and vocational colleges, KIU was represented at the pavilions organised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia in the city of Ozurgeti, where innovative projects created by KIU students were showcased.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Dr. Irakli Kobakhidze, together with the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Mr. Givi Mikanadze.
As part of the exhibition dedicated to 26 May, the Head of Government toured the diverse exhibition spaces of higher education institutions and vocational colleges. Particular attention was paid to the work of Kutaisi International University students, which showcased unique initiatives in the fields of modern technology, science and engineering.
The projects presented by KIU students combined both theoretical research and practical models, reflecting the professional capabilities and creative vision of young people. The event was also attended by KIU Chancellor, Dr. Levan Kopaliani, alongside members of the University's administration.
The central square of Ozurgeti hosted a varied programme of events to mark the occasion, which concluded with a gala concert.
