Registration Is Now Open for KIU Bachelor's and Master's Programmes for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

Kutaisi International University (KIU) starts the 2026–2027 academic year with impressive new developments and ambitious goals. KIU offers prospective students a diverse range of bachelor's and master's programmes of European standard and quality. Most programmes at KIU are implemented in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM), as well as leading European universities and international organisations.

Bachelor's Programmes at KIU taught in English:

  • Mathematics & Applications: Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Computing, Financial Mathematics, BSc (delivered in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich — TUM)
  • Physics (informed by TUM’s expertise in the field)
  • Computer Science (delivered in collaboration with TUM)
  • Management (delivered in collaboration with TUM)
  • Design (delivered in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II)
  • Psychology (delivered in collaboration with the University of Bamberg)
  • Architecture

Please note: Prospective applicants wishing to apply to the Architecture programme are required to complete a Creative Tour — a mandatory stage comprising a formal interview and portfolio review. Registration opens on 15 May 2026 and closes on 31 May 2026.

Master's Programmes at KIU taught in English:

  • Finance and Information Management, MSc (delivered in collaboration with TUM)
  • Intellectual Property, Innovations and Entrepreneurship (developed in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization — WIPO — and Sakpatenti)
  • Embedded Computing System (delivered in collaboration with the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau)

Students at KIU will find an environmentally friendly campus spanning 163 hectares, featuring ultramodern facilities, well-equipped residential and academic buildings, state-of-the-art laboratories, and infrastructure tailored to the needs of young people. Beyond academics, KIU offers support for student projects and start-ups, competitions, olympiads, professional clubs, sports and enrichment activities, and scientific seminars, among much else. Outstanding students may benefit from a range of scholarships, internship opportunities, and exchange programmes.

Admission to KIU's Bachelor's and Master’s programmes is conducted through the Unified National Examinations. KIU's registration code for the Unified National Examinations is 197.

From the 2026–2027 academic year, all bachelor’s and master’s programmes for first-year students will be fully funded by the Georgian government.
