Kutaisi International University (KIU) recently hosted its most extensive Open Day to date, welcomed prospective students from across the country and provided them with comprehensive information regarding the University’s academic programmes and institutional facilities.
In the course of the Open Day, participants received detailed information on KIU’s unique undergraduate degree programmes, available grant-funded and exchange opportunities, and graduate employment prospects. Participants also had the opportunity to meet with programme heads, academic staff, and KIU students, toured the campus and explored the University’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Kutaisi International University enters the 2026–2027 academic year with significant developments and internationally aligned undergraduate programmes, the majority of which are delivered in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and other leading European universities.
For the 2026–2027 academic year, KIU will, for the first time, admit students to two newly established English-medium undergraduate programmes:
- Physics
- Architecture
In addition to the new programmes, applications are open for the following existing English-medium undergraduate programmes:
- Mathematics and Applications: Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Computing, and Financial Mathematics
- Computer Science
- Management
- Psychology
- Design.
Students at Kutaisi International University will have access to an environmentally sustainable university campus extending across 163 hectares, equipped with modern laboratories and academic buildings, a fully furnished residential complex, and ultramodern infrastructure.
Enrolment in KIU's undergraduate programmes is carried out through the Unified National Examinations (197).
