KIU Associate Professor Ia Mosashvili Awarded for Outstanding Contribution to Science

Professor Dr. Ia Mosashvili, Head of the Quality Assurance Office of Kutaisi International University (KIU), Associate Professor of the School of Computer Science, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, has been awarded for her exceptional contribution to science.
 
The event was dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. 

Professor Dr. Ia Mosashvili was honored with a certificate for her successful scientific achievements, presented by the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Mr. Givi Mikanadze, and the Head of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Mr. Teimuraz Dotchviri. The award ceremony was attended by the Pro-Rector of KIU, Professor Dr. Paata Turava.

Doctor of Engineering Ia Mosashvili is among the first in Georgia to introduce modern courses in digital design and embedded systems within the STEM field. She currently heads the Master’s program in “Embedded Computing Systems” at KIU. This dual-degree program is implemented in collaboration with the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). 

Professor Dr. Ia Mosashvili maintains active scientific collaborations with international colleagues and has authored numerous scholarly publications both locally and internationally. Her academic and research interests include digital systems and design, computer organization and architecture, embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and computer systems.
