The Kutaisi City Municipality Mayor’s Scholarship has been awarded to the following KIU students from the Mathematics and Management programs: Mariam Shonia (Mathematics), Tamar Ptskialadze (Management), Zurab Parkosadze (Management, FIM Master’s Program), and Amiran Makharadze (Management, FIM Master’s Program). The purpose of this initiative is to foster increased academic motivation, encourage youth excellence, and stimulate interest in scientific-research activities among students.
Since 2022, the Kutaisi City Municipality has been executing the project "Mayor’s Scholars." The scholarship is intended for outstanding students registered in Kutaisi and enrolled in authorized higher education institutions.
