 12/11/2025

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Kutaisi International University (KIU) and the European Public Law Organization (EPLO). Under the MOU, KIU’s School of Law has officially joined the EPLO network. This partnership will provide students and academic staff of the School of Law with opportunities to integrate into the European educational space, engage in international research projects, and participate in summer schools and exchange programs.

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO), established in 2007, aims to promote the creation and exchange of knowledge in the fields of public law and governance, including national and European public law, human rights law, environmental law, and international law.

To fulfill its educational mission, EPLO founded the European Law and Governance School (ELGS), an international university whose academic programs are recognized by Italy, the UNESCO network, and the Erasmus+ Programme.

Kutaisi International University’s (KIU) School of Law welcomed its first cohort of students in the 2025–2026 academic year. The KIU School of Law is also a member of the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA).
