Kutaisi International University (KIU) hosted Professor Sergei Dashkovskiy from the Department of Mathematics and Professor Alexander Wulff from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Würzburg. As part of their visit, a mini-workshop was held, attended by faculty members from KIU’s Schools of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The Rector of Kutaisi International University, Professor Giorgi Khubua, opened the meeting with a welcome address, emphasizing the critical role of strengthening international partnerships in the ongoing development of the university.
The session was formally opened by Ramaz Bochorishvili, Head of the School of Mathematics at KIU. During the workshop, both universities presented their academic programs and research focus areas. The visiting professors also discussed the potential for student and faculty mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, highlighting opportunities for enhanced collaboration and the implementation of joint academic and research initiatives.
KIU continues to expand its international cooperation, actively working to create new opportunities for its students and academic community.
