Call for Abstracts - Intellectual property rights in the field of Higher Education

Kutaisi International University (KIU) and Akaki Tsereteli State University announce a call for abstracts for The Excellence School (IES). The IES is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, through a Loan Agreement for financing the Innovation, Inclusion, and Quality Project with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

The International Excellence School (IES) focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the field of Higher Education. In higher education, intellectual property rights pertain to the legal safeguards for creations of the mind, including research, inventions, and artistic works developed within academic institutions.

The IES invites early career researchers conducting research that includes IP dimensions or planning to do so. Early career researchers are defined as members of academic staff in a higher education institution with maximum 5 years from their PhD completion, or PhD candidates currently conducting their doctoral studies.

Interested Early Career Researchers should fill the form by Friday, November 29, 5pm.
