Georgia is considered as a new and distinguished player in the European Hadron Therapy Network.

Currently, the Georgian delegation is taking part in the 3rd International Symposium on Proton Therapy ISOP2019, which is being held in Madrid, Spain. The issue of membership of Georgia in the European Hadron Therapy Network (EPTN) as a new and distinguished player will be discussed at the symposium.

The members of the Georgian delegation are the Chairman of the Board of the International Charity Foundation “Cartu” Nikoloz Chkhetiani, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli, the “Cartu Group” Project Director Vakhtang Tsagareli, and Executive Director of the Georgian Institute of Technology Alexander Tevzadze. The face-to-face meetings with the world’s leading researchers, clinics and representatives of various proton therapy centers will be held within the framework of symposium.
