Doctoral Dissertation 


The dissertation is to demonstrate the candidate’s ability to do independent research work and provide a clear description of the results, and must be an original, innovative contribution to the advance of science.

 

Doctoral dissertation must provide a brief description of the scientific problem, problem-solving solutions, results and conclusions achieved and related literature.

 

The Dissertation must be written in English. The Dissertation may also include title page and a short abstract in Georgian.

 

The dissertation must be a candidate’s original work.  It must include an abstract of the content and a complete bibliography of the literature and other information sources used. A candidate’s own publications should be identified as such.

 

 

 

Submission of Doctoral Dissertation


Doctoral studies should be completed by the submission of the doctoral dissertation. Requirements for the acceptance of the dissertation and initiation of the dissertation defense process include the following documentation:

1.    Proof of completion of the doctoral program requirements; 
2.    Confirmation that the research project results has been discussed and approved by independent expert community;
3.    Doctoral Declaration
4.    List of Publications
5.    Curriculum Vitae
