Anzor Beridze graduated from the faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University in 2001. He was awarded PhD degree at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Tbilisi State University in 2004. From 2008 to 2020 he was Associate Professor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. He was postdoctoral fellow of Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences, GCU, Lahore, Pakistan from November 2006 until February 2007 as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow of University of Warsaw, Poland from November 2013 until June 2014. From September 2019 until December 2019, he was a visiting researcher of the University of California, Santa Barbara (USA). His research interests mainly focus on algebraic topology, in particular homology theory.
